Back in Michigan again

Our original return date was the 14th but due to flooding our train was cancelled and rebooked for the following weekend. We took advantage of the extra time and went to Ogdensburg to visit Ceci's great-grandma Marie. We spent a couple nights with her, each morning going to her coffee social hour. We had fun meeting all her friends and neighbors. Ceci met my Uncle Tom and Aunt Mary Jo and my cousins Sara and Chad. We had dinner with Aunt Cherie Monday night and took a walk along river with her Tuesday. After coming back from the 'burg we watched Kayli in a swim meet (nice stroke Kay). Jacob had a soccer game Saturday. The Gecos won even though the 6 and uner league technically doesn't keep score. We arrived back in Michigan Sunday. The train ride was a pleasure, once again. I think Ceci actually sleeps better on the train than anywhere else.While my time off with Ceci has been beyond fantastic, we still have a mortgage to pay. I've begun the job search and hopefully I can find something more conducive to motherhood this go around.

Congratulations Lora and Gabe - Isabella Mendez was born into the world on Monday, September 22, at 9:04 p.m. She was 6 pounds 14 ounces and ounces and 20 ¼ inches long.
